This fastest 50 of Chris Gayle is worth mentioning in IPL history. It is when he scored 175* off 66 balls and made fielders run in the field for a catch out or to at least block the fours and sixes. But, it was Chris’s day. His first 50 was over 17 balls. This massive score helped RCB win the match.

In 2009, Gilchrist set the record for the fastest 50 in IPL’s two-year history. While, playing in the top order, Adam smashed a 50 in 17 balls and scored a total of 85 runs before getting out. But, his brilliant performance sealed the victory for Deccan Chargers.
